Terms of Service

By joining the Zdue waitlist or using Zdue at zdue.net you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

Zdue is being prepared as a tool for businesses to create invoices and send automated payment reminders. The public site is a waitlist. We are not a law firm, debt collector, credit reporting agency, or payment processor. After launch, payments will be handled by Stripe or PayPal.

Waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not create an account, does not create product access, and does not charge you. We may email you at the address you provide about Zdue opening (including a confirmation when you join). Those emails include an unsubscribe link and our US mailing address when configured. Optional SMS is only sent if you opt in with a phone number; message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out. Questions posted in the waitlist Q&A may be published with your first name after we answer. Do not include confidential customer or payment details in a public question. We may decline to publish or may hide a question. You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry by emailing subs@zdue.net.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of invoices and customer contacts after you have an account.
• You must only import or email contacts you are allowed to contact under anti-spam and collection laws that apply to you.
• You must honor opt-outs. Autopilot emails include an unsubscribe link for that invoice.
• You must have prior consent before sending SMS reminders, and you are responsible for TCPA and similar texting laws.
• You must be 18 or older and use the service for business.

Acceptable use

Do not use Zdue to harass anyone, send unlawful messages, bypass security, or process data you have no right to process. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Accounts and billing

You are responsible for activity under your login. Paid plans, if offered, are billed through Stripe. We may change features or pricing with notice on the site. Cancellation, unused time, and refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zdue is not liable for lost profits, lost payments, or indirect damages, and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $0 if you are on a free plan).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
